Mano De Esperanza
This month we are delighted to introduce you to Ministerio Mano de Esperanza. This ministry is grounded in the Great Commission and based on Matthew 25:40. God has opened doors to this ministry in Honduras. This small country located between Guatemala and Nicaragua in Central America is home to approximately 8 million people. Honduras has recently made international news as hundreds of citizens have migrated north in a human caravan to find work, and escape the poverty so prevalent across this nation. It also ranks among the most violent countries in the world.
But God has raised up a couple who have a deep love for this impoverished nation. Julio and Zolangie Oramas have been visiting and ministering in Honduras for several years. They are a living testimony that we are God’s hands on earth. Mano de Esperanza, literally Hand of Hope, is a ministry that brings hope to a nation through the person of Jesus Christ. The essence of Matthew 25 is to point out that if we are true believers, profess to be a disciple of Christ, and a people who reflect the love and compassion of God, then we must meet the physical and spiritual needs of those around us. “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me”. (Matthew 25:35)
The vision that God gave this couple extends beyond local missions. They plan to open a Casa de Misiones or Mission House where those who are called by to the nations may come and receive training and equipping. That is why we honor this couple and their vision. That is why we invite you to visit their website at www.manodesperanza.org and on Facebook at Ministerio Mano de Esperanza. Partner with them to PRAY, GIVE, and GO.
